Leaves, Brush & Grass
Fall
Leaves will be collected from mid-October through December 28.

Spring Leaves will be collected from March 31 to May 9. Leaves should be raked to the curb but not into the street.

Brush is collected on the third Wednesday of each month. Call (609) 395-0900, ext. 229, to arrange for a pickup. Pile brush neatly at the curb.

Special Items

White Goods/Appliances are collected on the second Wednesday of each month. Call (609) 395-0900, ext. 229, to arrange for a pickup. There is a fee of $10.00 per item for this pickup service.

Trash and recycling collections may occur on the same day in some areas. Please be especially careful in using additional containers for your recyclables. Be certain that these additional containers are open, without tops and placed at the curb with your blue MCIA containers, so that they are not mistaken for trash.

Adjoining Residences: Neighbors can make recycling collections more efficient by placing their recyclables in one grouping at the curb. This allows the truck to stop once, instead of two or three times, and saves time. However, you must remember to clearly mark your own containers with your name and address.
