The Caddyshack Restaurant Opens at The Meadows at Middlesex Golf Course

April 02, 2007 -- The Meadows at Middlesex Golf Course (70 Hunters Glen Drive) now has a full-service restaurant for the daily golfers, golf league players and many of the outing groups that golf at the Plainsboro course. Golf course manager Susan Disario commented, "We are pleased to welcome this restaurant to the course because the owner-operators are so enthusiastic about providing top quality food and service to our golfers."

Caddyshack, owned and operated by VS Services LLP, offers a wide breakfast menu of baked goods, sandwiches, omelets and a variety of breakfast platters. In addition, the lunch and dinner menus range from salads and deli sandwiches to delicious panini creations and an assortment of traditional burgers.

"We are pleased to take our full range of restaurant experience and create this new restaurant for the golfers at the Meadows," said Varun Kalra, Caddyshack co-owner, "We are especially excited about catering lunches and dinners for the many golf outings hosted at The Meadows, and we will create special menus to meet the needs of each outing."

Open at 6:30 AM daily, 7 days a week, to accommodate early morning golfers, Caddyshack is also open to the general public. It is expected that people who work nearby will enjoy this new lunchtime spot, and those in adjoining apartment and condominium communities have a new option for dinner. Caddyshack also offers catering services to local businesses for office events and special occasions.

In 2006, close to 30,000 rounds of golf were played at the Meadows. It is a favorite public course for many local charity golf fundraisers because outing prices are among the most reasonable in the area, just $50 per golfer for greens fee and cart. The course is also home to a number of golf leagues.
