Dr. Frank Damiani, Director of Resident Care / Licensed Administrator

The Middlesex County Improvement Authority is the owner, license-holder and operator of this long-term care facility located in Roosevelt Park.  During the most recent survey by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, the team noted that the staff and administration go beyond the minimum requirements "to provide their residents with excellent care." As a result Roosevelt Care Center has acheived Advisory Standards. In an exit interview with Roosevelt staff and residents the team noted that staff and administration demonstrate a passion and drive to do the best for the residents. Looking forward, the MCIA and the Roosevelt Care Center management team and employees are committed to maintaining this high level of care.

We have in place a dynamic team that is achieving good results and the future of Roosevelt Care Center looks bright. Management teams are headed by:

The Roosevelt Campus consists of a historic building with a 6-story addition as well as the 180-bed Parsonage Road building that opened in May of 2005. The current census at Roosevelt averages at 400 residents. The Middlesex County Board of Freeholders are moving forward with plans to build a 180-bed long-term care center in Old Bridge. And plans for renovating the 70-year-old historic building into senior apartments on the Roosevelt Campus are already being studied.

The MCIA is committed to maintaining a high quality of care. Toward this end, the MCIA has taken immediate steps toward attracting more nursing staff to Roosevelt and toward retaining the dedicated caregivers already at the facility.
