The Middlesex County Improvement Authority is the owner, license-holder and operator of this long-term care facility located in Roosevelt Park.

The latest survey by the NJ Dept. of Health and Senior Services took place July 28 – Aug. 4, 2008. The survey consisted of an extensive review of all systems and levels of care within the facility. The surveyors specially noted the clinical services provided at Roosevelt and complimented the interdisciplinary approach. The team process of reviewing the clinical status of residents was found to be comprehensive and proactive in the areas of preventing decline in physical and medical function. The Roosevelt staff was also complimented for its management of incident and accident prevention. Other areas that stood out were the satisfaction of the residents of Roosevelt and the excellence in wound management and pain management.

Roosevelt earned Advisory Standards in every one of the 19 categories the State studies when performing reviews of long term care facilities. Advisory Standards refers to facilities that go beyond the minimum requirements to provide excellent care.

Generally, the survey team determined that the Roosevelt staff continues to set the bar of excellence at new levels, and this survey is a validation of the hard work and great care that is provided to the residents.

We have in place a dynamic team that is achieving good results and the future of Roosevelt Care Center looks bright. Management teams are headed by:
